Our Speakers This Week: Lori Conner, Principal of Carrillo K-5 Magnet Elementary School and Robert Soza-Villanueva, Carillo's Magnet Coordinator. Carrillo K-5 Magnet School is a highly-performing, “Α+“- rated school, located in the heart of downtown Tucson. The school’s magnet school theme is Communication & Creative Arts and is designed to teach students 21st Century skills in arts-integrated thematic units. Instruction is rigorous, and students learn important foundational skills as they participate in relevant Project Based Learning units. Teachers have high expectations for student mastery of the Arizona College and Career Ready Standards. |
