June - Upcoming events and Registration Information
Here are a couple of time-sensitive reminders for all 2018-19 Rotary leaders. Registration for all three events is at www.rotaryd5500.org.
- GRANT MANAGEMENT WEBINARS. For clubs to qualify for district or global grants in 2018-19, at least two club members must participate in our May 30 or June 30 webinar. There is no cost, but signing up in advance is essential. Presidio Rotarians - Please consider - Would you be available for the June 30 webinar?
- DISTRICT GOVERNOR INSTALLATION DINNER. The theme is “Take Me Out to the Ball Game . . . or Anywhere That’s Fun for You.” Plan to wear something that represents what you do for fun. We’ll be recognizing our incoming Club Presidents, and all Rotarians and guests are invited. The date is Saturday, June 16, 6:00 pm at the UA Student Union. Sign ups and menu selection must be completed by Tuesday, June 12. The cost is only $40 (lower than in previous years).
- DINNER IN TORONTO. If you’re heading to the RI Convention in Toronto, please register for our Arizona dinner on Saturday evening, June 23. We’ll be honoring DG Joe Hentges and making connections with Rotarian friends and spouses. (NOTE: It’s crucial that a good number of us attend, since we’ve made a financial commitment to the outstanding restaurant in Toronto.)
